The Need and Importance of Jurisprudence in Religious Understanding

The jurisprudence is such a science in which the jurists derived the solution of new issues. The base of this knowledge is the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah as the primary sources of the jusrisprudence. The center and axis of the jurisprudence is only to obay the rulings of Allah Almighty. Its first source for law making is Holy Quran. The second source of this law is surrending around the Allah Almighty order that obey the Messenger (Sunnah). The third source is the obedience of the leaders of authority, who have the special quality of being consistent. The jurists seek solutions to new problems from the Quran and Sunnah. The method of doing this is that they compare new problems, incidents, and unsolved problems with the cause of solved problems. They do not derive the Shariah ruling from their own opinion, but they seek the Shariah ruling for a new problem based on a common cause. The cause of the old and new problem is the same as the already existing Quran and Sunnah. The Shariah ruling is not new, but the problem is new. And the Shariah ruling is already present in the Quran and Hadith. A jurist take out the Shariah ruling for the new problem based on a common cause. In this article the need and importance of jurisprudence for better understanding the rulings of the Islam will be discussed.
