Aims, Scope & Objectives
Al-Asr International Research Journal of Islamic Studies, Lahore-Pakistan is an Academic Research Journal devoted to Islamic research. It serves as a forum for authors, faculty members, and scholars to write objectively, analytically, and wherever necessary, critically on the Qur’an, Sunnah, Sirah, and Islamic Law and Jurisprudence. This research journal has applied for accreditation by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Al-Asr is a peer-reviewed research Journal that has been published bi-annually for research work, since 2020. Al-Irfan Research Center (SMC-Private) Limited Lahore, Pakistan.
The main objective of this Research Journal is to provide a platform for researchers, teachers, and students to share their efforts and circulate their results to promote research in the field of Islamic Studies by providing opportunities for print and online access to quality material for all those who are interested in research regarding religious sciences. Its goal is to highlight Islamic concepts to answer the questions and to find solutions to different issues arising in the modern era in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah. It aims at defining Islam in terms of its fundamentals rationally and liberally emphasizing at the same time, the basic Islamic ideas of universal brotherhood, tolerance, and social justice.
