Copyright & Open Access Policy

All articles published in Al-Asr International Research Journal of Islamic Studies are fully open access and freely available to read, download, and share. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license, permitting use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium with proper citation.

The authors grant all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual license to access and share their work. At least one trusted repository supported by an academic institution or organization will archive each article to ensure long-term availability.

Usage Rights:

  1. Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, including commercial use.
  2. Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, with proper attribution.

Plagiarism Policy

Al-Asr International Research Journal strictly enforces zero tolerance for plagiarism. All submissions are screened using Turnitin software. Papers exceeding 19% similarity are returned immediately. HEC and COPE guidelines are strictly followed. Violations detected post-publication may lead to retraction or author blacklisting.

Self-Plagiarism:

Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy

Authors retain copyright and may self-archive preprints, postprints, or publisher PDFs in personal or institutional repositories. Published articles can be deposited in recognized repositories with proper citation to AL-ASR and AIRC-PK.

Long-term access is ensured through digital archiving on PN Preservation Networks (LOCKSS) and automatic OJS database backups. Metadata is compatible with major repository services for digital preservation.

Privacy Policy

Names and email addresses submitted to the journal are used exclusively for journal purposes and will not be shared with third parties. Authors retain full rights to their work but must sign a copyright agreement for fair use under Creative Commons licensing.
