This article examines the principle of interfaith respect as embodied in the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and conducts a comparative analysis with contemporary global principles of respect for human dignity. The study explores how the Prophetic model established ethical, social, and legal foundations for peaceful coexistence among religiously diverse communities. Through an analysis of key events such as the Charter of Madinah, the delegation of the Christians of Najran, treaties with non-Muslims, and the protection of life, property, and places of worship, the article highlights that interfaith respect in the Prophetic Seerah was not merely a moral ideal but a structured and enforceable social practice.
