Abstract

The temptation of atheism has become a very serious intellectual and ideological problem of today. Scientific progress, materialism, the dominance of Western civilization and distance from Islamic teachings have also given rise to doubts and suspicions in Muslim societies, especially among the younger generation, hesitation regarding beliefs and the tendency towards atheism is increasing. To combat this, mere traditional arguments and strict rhetoric are no longer effective, but the need of the hour is to argue against atheism in the light of the Holy Quran so that the intellect, nature and consciousness of man can be satisfied. Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi established an effective intellectual and intellectual front against atheism through his books, speeches and writings. In his thought, a comprehensive, simple and well-reasoned style of Quranic arguments is found for the rejection of atheism, in which intellect, nature and revelation are presented in a coherent manner.
