Abstract

In the contemporary era, Islamic principles continue to serve as a guiding light for the education of children, offering timeless wisdom that is relevant to the challenges and opportunities of the modern world. This abstract explores the foundational principles of Islamic child education and their application in the current era.

Islamic education emphasizes the holistic development of children, integrating religious teachings with secular knowledge and character building. Parents are recognized as the primary educators, tasked with instilling a love for learning, moral values, and spiritual growth in their children. Through role modeling and active involvement, parents play a crucial role in shaping their children's attitudes, behaviors, and worldviews.

In the current era, Islamic education embraces adaptability and innovation, leveraging modern tools and methodologies to engage and empower young learners. Technology, interactive learning platforms, and critical thinking skills are integrated into the curriculum, allowing children to navigate the complexities of the digital age while remaining rooted in Islamic values.

Central to Islamic education is the promotion of critical thinking, inquiry, and lifelong learning. Children are encouraged to question, analyze, and seek knowledge, fostering a deep understanding of Islamic teachings and their relevance to contemporary issues. Respect for diversity, community involvement, and social responsibility are emphasized, nurturing compassionate and empathetic individuals who contribute positively to society.
