This research examines the comprehensive regional, economic, and socio-cultural impacts of the trade journeys of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the Arabian Peninsula and the Levant before the declaration of prophethood. The economic linkages established between Makkah and Greater Syria (Ash-Sham) not only expanded international trade networks but also revitalized regional markets and trade hubs across transit routes. The regular movement of trade caravans enhanced inter-tribal peace and mutual economic interests, securing long-distance trade corridors and fostering economic integration between the Hijaz and surrounding territories. A pivotal finding of this study is that the Prophet’s (PBUH) unmatched integrity, honesty, and fair dealing in commercial transactions earned him widespread renown as Al-Sadiq (the Truthful) and Al-Amin (the Trustworthy), establishing a robust moral and social foundation for the later propagation of Islam. Furthermore, these journeys facilitated dynamic cultural exchange, capital circulation, and long-term regional stability, elevating traditional Arabian trade fairs such as Ukaz, Majannah, and Dhu al-Majaz into influential economic, intellectual, and cultural institutions. The study recommends adopting these prophetic ethical principles to formulate modern commercial codes of conduct and calls for interdisciplinary research on historical trade routes to inform contemporary regional economic integration.
