The contemporary world, despite unprecedented material progress, faces a staggering rise in mental health disorders, including chronic anxiety, depression, and psychological burnout. Traditional Western psychotherapies, while valuable, often fail to provide complete relief, primarily because they overlook the intrinsic spiritual and existential dimensions of human consciousness. This study aims to fill that gap by analyzing the comprehensive framework of mental peace embedded within the Prophetic Sīrah (ﷺ) and proposing an integrated psycho-spiritual model for modern application. Using a qualitative hermeneutic and analytical methodology, this research systematically examines primary Islamic sources the Holy Qur’an, authentic Hadith compilations, and documented Prophetic practices and conducts a comparative assessment with contemporary psychological paradigms such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology. The findings reveal that the Prophetic model is fundamentally structured upon four interconnected pillars: unwavering trust in God (Tawakkul), consistent worship including prayer and remembrance (Ṣalāh and Dhikr), moral virtues like patience and gratitude (Ṣabr and Shukr), and active social cohesion (Ṣilah Raḥmī). This integrated approach not only demonstrates remarkable harmony with modern therapeutic strategies but surpasses them by addressing the deeper existential causes of distress. The study concludes that mental tranquility, from the Prophetic perspective, is not a passive escape from hardship but a dynamic state of equilibrium achieved through the harmonization of faith, cognition, emotion, and social responsibility. This paper introduces a spiritually grounded, empirically viable model that offers a transformative roadmap for mental health professionals, educators, and individuals seeking holistic well-being in an increasingly chaotic world.
