Abstract

With an emphasis on his devotional arājīz (didactic and rhythmic poetic compositions), this article examines the thematic aspects of prophetic life as portrayed in the literary works of Nabahani. Because of his intense devotion to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his literary endeavors to celebrate and preserve the Prophetic tradition, Al-Nabahani holds a prominent position in contemporary Arabic-Islamic literature. His collection of poetry portrays the Sirah as a spiritual, moral, and civilizational paradigm in addition to being a historical account.

The research looks at the main Sirah-related themes in al-Nabahani's arājīz, such as the Prophet ﷺ's noble heritage, the miraculous occurrences surrounding his birth, his moral superiority, his migration (Hijrah), his battles, his mercy toward humanity, and his worldwide mission. The study also examines al-Nabahani's stylistic and rhetorical devices, including rhythmic narration, intertextuality with Hadith and Qur'anic verses, and the incorporation of praise poetry for pedagogical purposes.

This study demonstrates how al-Nabahani used poetry as a vehicle for moral reform, developing devotional attachment, and disseminating Sirah knowledge. Thus, in Islamic tradition, his arājīz serve as a link between literature, spirituality, and historical awareness.
