Abstract

In classical Urdu ghazal, the dialogue style has proved to be an effective means of expressing oneself in a very subtle and artistic way.  This style not only gives language to human emotions but also connects the reader with the poet's emotional distress and heart condition.  Words from the depths of the heart in a conversational style make classical poetry very attractive and meaningful.  In it, the artistic use of vocabulary, the delicacy of language and the philosophical aspect of poetry provide such a comprehensive creation in which human feelings and intellectual depth are reflected together. Urdu ghazal got a unique identity thanks to dialogue style in poetry, where the poet expressed his emotions and inner states by talking to inanimate objects and natural elements.  The way the poets of the classical era used their creativity and artistic flair in this style, it has become a living part of Urdu literature.
