Abstract

This research paper explores the Islamic concept of women's status through the exemplary life of Fatimah al-Zahra (RA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. By analyzing her biography, the study aims to demonstrate how Islamic teachings uphold the dignity, honor, and multifaceted role of women in both private and public spheres. The paper investigates core values such as modesty, piety, intellectual strength, and social responsibility as reflected in her life, and contextualizes them within contemporary challenges faced by Muslim women. The research also highlights how Fatimah al-Zahra’s role as a daughter, wife, mother, and community member serves as a timeless model of feminine excellence. Through textual analysis of Qur’anic verses, Hadith literature, and classical sources, the paper offers a comprehensive understanding of how her example can inform the moral and social framework for women today. The study concludes that the legacy of Fatimah al-Zahra (RA) is not merely historical, but a living guide for modern Muslim women striving to balance faith, family, and social engagement in a rapidly evolving world.
