Status of Leadership Qualities with Respect to Rhetoric and Gift of Gab

Abstract

Man is undoubtedly the best of creation, and to be the leader of human beings confers him to the best of the best lofty pedestal. To get excellence from others Allah almighty bestows him with rhetoric and the gift Of gab which are the most eminent qualities of a leader. The holy Quran describes these qualities as “Alhikma” and Fazal al Khitab”.The title of the holy Quran “Quran un Ajban” also highlights its quality of articulation and expressiveness.  Although Allah almighty has blessed this quality in abundance to His all Prophets and Messengers but He has blessed his last Messenger with this quality with a special distinction from all of the above. This article discusses the special quality of speech (JAW MI UL KALIM”) of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.).
