Abstract

The Prophetic (ﷺ) mission of preaching Islam offers a timeless model for effective communication of divine guidance. This research explores the guiding principles derived from the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in his approach to Da'wah (Islamic preaching). The study systematically analyzes key strategies employed by the Prophet ﷺ—such as wisdom, patience, gradualism, contextual relevance, emotional intelligence, and moral integrity—and evaluates their relevance in the modern context.

The research further investigates how these Prophetic principles can be applied by contemporary Islamic preachers (da’wa) in diverse cultural, social, and ideological environments. It addresses the challenges faced by modern da'wah efforts, including secularism, pluralism, and digital media, and offers actionable insights rooted in the Prophetic tradition.

By conducting a critical and applied review, this thesis aims to bridge the gap between the classical Prophetic model and the evolving demands of today’s global da'wah landscape, providing a comprehensive guide for Islamic scholars, educators, and preachers seeking to uphold the authentic spirit of Islamic invitation in contemporary times.
