Editorial Board of Al-Asr International Research Journal of Islamic Studies (AAIRJIS)
The Editorial Board of Al-Asr International Research Journal of Islamic Studies (AAIRJIS) is pleased to announce two significant editorial decisions adopted during the Editorial and Advisory Board Meeting held in December 2025.
The meeting was attended by the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Editorial Board Members, and National and International Advisory Board Members to review the journal's academic progress, publication standards, and future strategic direction.
Following detailed deliberations, the Board unanimously approved the following editorial resolutions. Resolution No. 1 Change in Publication FrequencyTo ensure the timely dissemination of quality scholarly research and accommodate the increasing number of submissions, it has been unanimously resolved that:
Al-Asr International Research Journal of Islamic Studies (AAIRJIS) shall be published as a Monthly Journal effective from January 2026.This decision replaces the previous quarterly publication schedule.

- Greater publication opportunities for researchers.
- Enhanced international visibility.
- Continuous scholarly communication.
- Improved indexing and academic impact.
Recognizing the enduring significance of the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), the Editorial Board has unanimously approved the publication of an:
Annual Special Seerah IssueThe Special Issue shall be published every year on the blessed occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
It will provide a dedicated platform for original scholarly research on the life, teachings, ethics, leadership, civilization, and legacy of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
All submissions will undergo the journal's rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review Process.
