Plagiarism Policy
Al-Asr International Research Journal of Islamic Studies, strongly observes the proper guidelines for publications and perceives Zero Tolerance for plagiarism. Al-Asr Research Journal uses Turnitin software for all research papers submitted to detect possible similarities. If the similarity is more than 19%, the paper is returned to the author(s) immediately. Al-Asr Research Journal follows the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines to make the determination of whether (or to what extent) plagiarism exists. If plagiarism or other unethical practices are detected after publishing the paper, the editorial board has the authority to retract the paper as HEC’s plagiarism policy. All authors are responsible for their content individually and collectively. In case of serious plagiarism issues, the editorial board may decide either to consult the institutions of authors or to blacklist them.
Self-plagiarism: literal or considerable copying of authors’ own published work (or under consideration for publication at some other outlet) implementation of the originality of current submission is also not acceptable in any way. The users may follow the link below for further information.
